The Destination

Alicante

Alicante is a proven football tour destination. The region combines elite training facilities, competitive fixtures and over 300 days of sunshine a year, giving teams the conditions to train hard and recover properly.

Teams are based along the coast close to the training facilities and beach, so the schedule stays simple and the squad stays together. The focus is on football, recovery and team bonding rather than sightseeing although cultural activities, excursion and trips into the city are easily arranged.

Beach sessions take place at Playa de San Juan, a seven-kilometre stretch of fine sand that has held Blue Flag status for 40 consecutive years. The beach is clean, safe and spacious, with beach volleyball courts, mini football goals and calisthenics equipment built into the promenade. There is plenty of room to run drills, play games and recover without fighting through crowds.
